Leadership

I am a natural leader, with a track record of successful professional and academic projects which serves as evidence, and as stepping stones to further development in this area.

Active Leadership

I attribute my success as a leader to my conscious decision to take up opportunities in order to work towards earning my stage 2 Engineers Australia competency. I approach every leadership role with the intention to work on skills that will increase my value in the workplace.

Mentoring

Being both a student and a working engineer has presented me with a unique perspective, which I aim to share with peers of lesser experience in order to help them progress technically and professionally.

Mentoring Roles

Team Coach - Design in Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering: I am a tutor/coach for a final year design subject at UTS, where I provide mostly non-technical support for students. I guide 3 teams in following the correct engineering design process and navigating client relations.

Mentor - Introduction to Mechatronic Engineering: I am a mentor for a first year mechatronic engineering course. I provide support for 15 students whom are undertaking their final project for the subject.

Technical Advisor - UTS Rover Team: As a technical advisor, I provide support and feedback for students in their endeavour to develop a mock lunar rover for competition locally and internationally. Along with my technical advice, I support the leadership team and provide direction when needed.
