From a very young age, I have exhibited the mind of an engineer; Perpetually curious and intrigued with the world around me, I always had a desire to understand how things work and how, by extension, i could make things better.
My dad was an electronics engineer at Cannon during my early childhood. He'd often bring broken devices home for me to take apart for fun. This is my earliest memory of applying analytical thinking, an attribute that I have since developed into a valuable skill.
This attitude has not wavered from when I was young and is what ultimately drove me to starting my undergraduate degree in mechanical and mechatronic engineering. Solving challenges that lead to the betterment of society is the core driving force for me, and in the last few years I have discovered that robotics is a field that aligns with this goal.
I love how hardware and software can integrate so seamlessly to make robotic systems that are capable of doing incredible things, and I want nothing more than to be able to contribute to that over the course of my career as a professional engineer.
